After graduating in 1984 from the Computer Programming and Operating program at Seneca College, Gina Lainas began her career in the footwear industry as an analyst for The Shoe Shoppe (a division of Dylex). She then joined Sherson in 1988 on a temporary assignment and never left. Gina began her career in customer service, and then had successful years in sales, brand management, sales management and retail merchandising. Gina is in the right business. A shoe fashionista with more than 20 years of experience in the ever-changing world of fashion, she has the ability to spot the next big trend easily – a quality that has earned her the trust of Sherson Group’s wholesale clients and corporate retail stores. Both divisions depend on her instincts when it comes to selecting product. Gina’s continuous efforts play a role in the company’s constant growth and expansion, which has lead to her current executive position . |
