
1984: Sherson Marketing Inc. is formed. Operating out of Montreal with a sales branch in Toronto, the company is one of two Nine West Group Inc. licencees and distributors in Canada.
1986: Sherson Marketing closes its Montreal headquarters and moves its entire operation to Toronto.
1991: Upon the death of Sherson Marketing Inc. owner Harry Sherman, Stephen Applebaum – VP of Sales in Sherson Marketing Inc. – assumes full ownership and presidency of the company.
1994: Sherson Marketing Corp. moves from a 22,000 sq. ft. space to a newly renovated 36,000 sq. ft. office, showroom and distribution facility.
1996: Sherson Marketing Corp. licencee agreement with Nine West Canada is discontinued. The company continues to manage several Nine West brands in Canada under a new service agreement with Nine West Canada.
1999: Nine West Canada closes and Sherson Marketing Corp. becomes the sole licenced distributor of Nine West product in Canada.
1999: Sherson Marketing Corp. becomes the number one supplier of handbags and small leather goods at Canada’s major department store chains.
1999: Sherson Marketing Corp. adds an additional 46,000 sq. ft. to its distribution facility in order to accommodate growth.
1999: A wholly owned subsidiary of Sherson (operating as Nine West Retail in Canada) buys five Nine West retail stores and licences Nine West Retail for Canada.
2000: Sherson Marketing Corp. becomes the sole licencee of Nine West wholesale distribution in Canada. The company is now better equipped to manage and market Nine West brands to the demand of the Canadian market place.

2000: Sherson Marketing Corp. opens two more retail stores, bringing total store count to seven.
2001: Sherson Marketing Corp. opens three more retail stores, bringing total store count to 10.
2003: Sherson Marketing Corp. opens nine new stores, bringing total store count to 19.
2004: Sherson Marketing Corp. opens 12 new stores, bringing total store count to 31.
2005: Sherson Marketing Corp. obtains exclusive distribution rights to Nine West Luggage. Eight more stores are opened, bringing total store count to 39.
2006: Sherson Marketing Corp. amalgamates with Nine West Retail in Canada and forms Sherson Group. Two more stores are opened bringing the count to 41
2007: By years end Sherson Group owns and operates 48 retail locations.2007: Launch of the new ‘Madison’ retail concept
2008: 2008: Sherson reaches 50 store milestone under the banners Nine West, Nine West Shoe Studio (Outlet), Madison, Easy Spirit and Bandolino.
2009: When the recession hit the Canadian economy, Sherson was forced to re-Group. Within a year, they closed various underperforming stores, cut overhead, hired new merchandise and operations expertise, and developed a footprint for smaller more efficient stores. The changes were designed to boost sales per square foot, a key measure of Mall performance.
2012: The official launch of the Nine West (ninewest.ca) and Enzo Angiolini (enzoangiolini.ca) Ecommerce sites, allowing Sherson Group to initiate their Social Media Platform on Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest and Instagram.
